POINT PLEASANT BEACH — A total of five Point Pleasant Beach runners will be among the more than 50,000 to tackle one of most popular road races in the world — the 2019 New York City Marathon on Sunday.

Participants from more than 125 countries will take part in the 49th TCS New York City Marathon course that runs 26.2 miles through the five boroughs of NYC.

Below is a list of the Point Pleasant Beach runners, including their name and age. Please note: This list does not encompass the whole field from the region – just runners who have agreed to share their information with the media:

You can cheer on these fellow local runners during the 26.2-mile race in New York City, New York live on Sunday, Nov. 3 on TV, computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Watch the broadcast live on race day on WABC-TV, Channel 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pre-race coverage from Fort Wadsworth begins at 7 a.m. Live streaming will be available on the ABC App and ABC7NY.com from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
