Veteran's Day Celebration November 11th- Join us for a memorable occasion & pay tribute for their service.

The Woman’s Club of Point Pleasant and VFW Post #4715 are jointly hosting a Veteran’s Day Celebration on November 11th at 513 and 603 St. Louis Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach.

The program will begin at 10AM with a Welcome Coffee at the Woman's Club, and at 11AM the VFW will host a Memorial Ceremony.

Immediately following, there will be a showing of the documentary, Oh Johnny!, about the life and service of John Santillo, World War II Veteran, who stormed the beaches of Normandy.

In addition, Vietnam Veteran First Lt. William Pollock, will speak about his service in Saigon, as advisor to the General Political Warfare Directorate, training the Vietnamese armed forces in all military areas. Lt. Pollock will also display artifacts from his time serving.

Refreshments will be served at the VFW Post. Admission is free, but donations to the Buddy Poppy Program are gratefully accepted.
