Videos Show At Least 5 Whales Off Point Pleasant Beach
Lots of whales have been leaping out of the water off Point Pleasant lately.

Several parties of fishermen have been treated to visits from at least five whales off Point Pleasant Beach this week.
Brendan Skerletts, a Point Pleasant native, told The Asbury Park Press that a 35-foot animal could be seen leaping out of the water several times 50 to 100 yards from the fishing boat Barb Gail IV, a boat from Point Pleasant Beach.
Skerletts, who works on the boat, told The Asbury Park Press they were fishing for sea bass, and the boat was in 70 feet of water.
