• Whiting man, 80, dies in crash on Route 79 in Marlboro (app.com) — An 80-year-old Whiting man died after his car crossed into oncoming traffic on Route 79 in Marlboro and collided with a Ford F350 driven by a man from the Port Monmouth section of Middletown. Investigators from Monmouth County and Marlboro police are still piecing together what happened and are asking anyone who saw the crash to contact detectives.
