1 Candidate Withdraws From Princeton School Board Election

With Adam Bierman's decision to withdraw, four candidates now remain in the race.

PRINCETON, NJ — In June, five candidates filed nominations to contest three open seats on the Princeton Board of Education in the upcoming November elections. But now only four will contest the election.

Adam Bierman has withdrawn his candidacy and will not run for a seat on the Princeton School Board. Bierman withdrew his candidacy on Aug. 16, according to the Mercer County Clerk’s office.

With his decision to withdraw, four candidates now remain in the race - Jeffrey Zhi Yang Liao, Mara Franceschi, Betsy Baglio, and Brian McDonald. Baglio and McDonald are incumbents whose terms expire later this year.
