1 Car Burglarized, 3 Cars Damaged In Princeton

A Princeton business also had graffiti sprayed on the side of the building, police report.

PRINCETON, NJ — A number of cars were damaged and one was burglarized recently in Princeton, police report.

Princeton Police blotter:

On Jan. 3 at 8:49 a.m.: A victim reported that their unlocked vehicle was burglarized while parked in the Juniper Row lot. This occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 2 at 8:45 a.m. on Jan. 3. No items were reportedly taken. The vehicle was processed by patrol.

On Jan. 3 at 11:09 a.m.: A victim reported that their credit card, which was lost in Princeton, was used fraudulently 28 times. Of those times, the credit card was used three times in CVS at 172 Nassau St. on Dec. 15. The amount of the fraudulent charges totaled $1,677.90.

On Jan. 3 at 11:10 a.m.: Samuel D. Epps of Trenton, was arrested on several outstanding warrants totaling $3,040 subsequent to motor vehicle stop on Lawrence Drive for maintenance of lamps. Epps was released on his own recognizance pending court dates.

On Jan. 4 at 6:13 p.m.: An act of criminal mischief was reported at the Princeton Garden Theater, 160 Nassau St. Someone wrote graffiti on the western wall of the building with spray paint sometime between 2 and 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 4.

On Jan. 6 at 1:41 a.m.: Jose A. Rosado of Dayton was arrested subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Hamilton Avenue for driving while suspended. Rosado had two outstanding warrants totaling $1,401. He was turned over to Edison Police Department.

On Jan. 6 at 12:50 p.m.: The victim reported that their vehicle parked at Linden Lane and Guyot Avenue was purposefully scratched along the passenger side doors, causing approximately $800 in damage.

On Jan. 7 at 11:23 a.m.: Aristides Izquierdo Reyes of Hamilton was arrested in Princeton Municipal Court as an NCIC Wanted Person for owing $25,905.27 in back child support. Izquierdo Reyes was later released following payment.

On Jan. 8 at 12:08 a.m.: Akhil Uppuluri of Dayton was arrested for driving while intoxicated subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Vandeventer Avenue for failure to observe signal. Uppuluri was additionally charged with driving while suspended for a previous DWI. He was later released to a sober adult.

On Jan. 10 at 3:13 p.m.: The victim reported that their vehicle’s windows were purposefully smashed in an attempt to burglarize the vehicle while parked at Greenway Meadows on Rosedale Road. The victim reported seeing the suspect’s vehicle, described as a large silver or tan Infiniti SUV, fleeing westbound on Rosedale Road.

On Jan. 11 at 9:26 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop at Stockton Street and Monument Drivefor failure to yield to a pedestrian, Michael Borowski of Piscataway was arrested on Stockton Street for having an outstanding warrant totaling $500. Borowski was later turned over to South Brunswick Police Department.

On Jan. 12 at 5:30 p.m.: The victim reported that their parked vehicle on Linden Lane was purposefully damaged on its passenger side sometime between 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 6.
