1 Luxury Car Stolen, 4 Cars Broken Into: Princeton Police

PRINCETON, NJ — One luxury car was stolen and four other vehicles were broken into recently in Princeton, police said.

Sometime overnight between Feb. 19 and 20 someone entered a Battle Road resident's unlocked car and stole $30 in cash.

That same night another Battle Road resident said someone burglarized one of their vehicles parked in the driveway. Among the items stolen from the car was the spare key to their other vehicle, police report.

It appeared that the spare key was used to steal the BMW sedan in the driveway, police said.

Sometime overnight between Feb. 20 and 21 two more vehicles were burglarized.

A Clay Street resident reported that the front passenger side window of her vehicle was smashed while parked on her street.

A Newlin Road resident reported his unlocked vehicle parked in his driveway was burglarized and $30 in cash was stolen as well as three credit cards. One of the credit cards was charged for $120, according to police.

Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and remove any valuables from inside.
