12 Cases Of Hate, Anti-Semitism Reported In Princeton In 2019
In 2019, 216 incidents of hate, extremism and anti-Semitism were reported in NJ - 12 cases were in Princeton and 1 in Princeton Junction.
PRINCETON, NJ — Twelve incidents of hate, extremism and anti-Semitism were reported in Princeton in 2019, according to a new report by the Anti-Defamation League. One incident was also reported in Princeton Junction.
In 2019, there were 216 incidents reported in 112 towns in New Jersey, which decreased from the 452 incidents reported in New Jersey during 2018. But the incidents were no less concerning, the report says.

- Nov. 19, 2019: Patriot Front, an alt right group, distributed propaganda that read: "United we stand," "Revolution is tradition," "America first," and "Better dead than red."
- Nov. 14, 2019: "Several members of the New Jersey European Heritage Association, a white supremacist group, held a flash demonstration in Princeton while holding ""It'Äôs okay to be white" signs.
- Nov. 4, 2019: New Jersey European Heritage Association, an alt right group, distributed fliers at Princeton University that read: "Reclaim your nation reclaim your heritage," "Stop invasion caravan defend America troops to the border now," "Duty Calls," and "Demand a real investigation of USS Liberty attack June 8th 1967 Israeli sneak attack against Americans!"
- Oct. 8, 2019: Patriot Front, an alt right group, distributed propaganda at Princeton University that read: "Reclaim America" and "Life liberty and the pursuit of victory."
- Sept. 9, 2019: New Jersey European Heritage Association, an alt right group, distributed propaganda that that read: "Famiy & tradition our land our culture" and "Deport illegal aliens!"
- June 27, 2019: The Base, a white supremacist group, distributed propaganda at Princeton Univeristy that read: "Save your race and join the base survival and self-defense network."
- June 2, 2019: New Jersey European Heritage Association, an alt right group, distributed fliers that read: "Stop the third world invasion of America," "Love your race," "Open borders for Israel," and "What is the Kalergi Plan?"
- April 29, 2019: New Jersey European Heritage Association, an alt right group, distributed fliers that read: "Reclaim Your Heritage," "Communism killed 100 Million," "Unity is strength diversity is weakness," and "Western Civilization is white civilization."
- April 5, 2019: New Jersey European Heritage Association, an alt right group, distributed fliers at Princeton University that read: "Stop the invasion Caravan! Defend America! Troops to the border now!" and another flier titled, "Duty Calls."
- March 17, 2019: American Identity Movement, an alt right group, distributed propaganda that read: "Protect American Workers," "Nationalism not globalism," and "Embrace your Identity."
- March 2019: Religious leaders at Princeton University received anti-Semitic literature.
- Jan. 9, 2019: New Jersey European Heritage Association, an alt right group, distributed fliers that said: "It'Äôs okay to be white. March on Princeton 1/12/2019 Palmer Square at Noon." The group later claimed the fliers were a trolling effort.
A white supremacy group also planned to march in Princeton in January 2019.

- July 21, 2019: New Jersey European Heritage Association, an alt right group, distributed propaganda that that read: "Unity is strength diversity is weakness" and "America belongs to Americans."

The Anti-Defamation League tracks the incidents through news and media reports, government documents (including police reports), victim reports, extremist-related sources and the Center on Extremism investigations, according to a "Frequently Asked Questions" section on the ADL's website.
The Anti-Defamation League's interactive map includes information on incidents involving anti-Semitism, white supremacist propaganda, white supremacist events, extremist-police shootouts, terrorist plots and attacks and extremist murders.
