2 Arrested For DWI In Separate Princeton Incidents: Police

Princeton police release their weekly activity report.

PRINCETON, NJ — Two people were arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) in Princeton in separate incidents on Saturday, Feb. 24, according to the Princeton Police Department.

William Zimmerman, 23, of Bangor, Pa., was arrested for DWI after an accident on Quaker Road at about 4:17 a.m. He was hospitalized at Penn Medicine at Princeton Medical Center as a result of the crash. He was processed at the hospital, where he was issued several summonses with a pending court date and released to a sober adult.

Ashley Osorio-Deleon, 22, of Hamilton, was arrested for DWI after calling police to report a flat tire on College Road at about the same time. She was taken to police headquarters, where she was processed, issued several summonses with a pending court date and released to a sober adult.

The incidents were reported as part of this week’s Princeton Police blotter. Also reported were the following thefts:

A woman reported that her wallet was stolen at some point on Feb. 24 at an unknown location. After the theft, there was an unauthorized purchase by an unknown person at a US Gas Station in Trenton later that day.

A package was stolen from a home on the 100 block of Witherspoon Street on Feb. 12 after it had been delivered at 12:42 p.m.

A woman reported that between 1:34 p.m. and 2:10 p.m., her wallet was stolen from her purse, which was hanging off the back of her chair in Panera Bread. Upon reporting the theft to her bank, she learned an unauthorized purchase of $1,900 had been made at the West Windsor Target store.

A woman reported that her Apple iPad Air worth about $500 was stolen from the Princeton Senior Resource Center on Feb. 20. There are no suspects at this time.
