2 Arrested, Heroin And Gun Seized In Mercer County Drug Raids: Police
The raids capped a three-month investigation last week.
Two people were arrested, and seven bricks of heroin and a handgun were seized following a three-month investigation by the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said on Tuesday.
Donte Abdullah, 27, was the target of the investigation. He was arrested at his home in Trenton as he was getting into his car on Wednesday, Sept. 27. A search of the blue Jeep Cherokee revealed seven bricks of heroin, Onofri said.
Detectives then executed a search warrant at his home, where they said they found a Glock 9 mm handgun and a 50-round drum magazine loaded with 37 rounds of ammunition. They said he was selling drugs out of his house. The seized drugs have an estimated street value of $1,400, according to Prosecutor’s Sergeant Brian Kiely.
