$2K Worth Of Copper Wiring Stolen From Princeton Homes

A Princeton local was also charged with driving while intoxicated in a separate incident, according to the police blotter.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police reported a home burglary, fraud and arrests for driving while intoxicated and warrants, according to the police blotter.

Princeton Police blotter:

On Feb. 25 at 11:14 a.m.: The complainant reported that someone had entered the unoccupied homes on the property in the 800 block of Lawrenceville Road through forced entry. The unknown person then cut out and stole about $2,000 worth of copper piping. The burglary occurred sometime between Feb. 15 and Feb. 25.

On Feb. 26 at 12:15 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Chambers Street for no turn on red, the driver, Solomon Sirjoo, 58, of Princeton was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. He was later released with several summonses.

On Feb. 27 at 11:42 a.m.: The complainant reported that on Jan. 27, three unknown females entered their place of business on the 700 block of State Road, provided false identification, and paid for services and items totaling $2,535.29 with stolen credit cards. The complainant was not aware that the credit cards were used fraudulently that day until the credit card company advised their business weeks later that the charges were being disputed.

On Feb. 27 at 10:50 p.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for speeding on Great Road, the driver, Moneck Wallace, 46, of Ewing was found to have an active criminal warrant for her arrest out of Lumberton Township. Wallace was placed under arrest and later released on her own recognizance with a new court date.
