3 Car Burglaries Highlight Princeton Police Report

Princeton Police release their activity report.

PRINCETON, NJ — Three car burglaries were recently reported in Princeton, including two that took place between March 18 and 19, police said on Tuesday. In at least two of the incidents, the cars were unlocked.

Between 4 p.m. on March 18 and 1 p.m. on March 19, unknown actor(s) entered an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway on the 30 block of Wiggins Street and stole a Bestek 300 Inverter from inside the car.

Then, between 5:30 p.m. on March 18 and 1:30 p.m. on March 19, unknown actor(s) entered an unlocked vehicle that was parked in a driveway on the 10 block of Madison Street and stole two tennis racquets.

Five days earlier, on March 14, it was reported that a car was entered in the Spring Street Garage, and clothes and other items were stolen from inside the vehicle. It was unknown if this car was unlocked at the time of the theft.

The burglaries were reported as part of the Princeton Police Blotter released Tuesday night. Police also provided the following information:
  • Justin L. Phillips, 22, of Berlin, was arrested on two active warrants following a traffic stop on Lytle Street on March 16 at 8:44 a.m. Warrants were out of Wildwood City for $1,250, and Clementon for $500.34. Phillips was placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and released on his own recognizance.
  • Suzanne Klebe, 65, of Hackensack, was found to have an active warrant out of Union City Municipal Court for $160 during a random plate inquiry on Faculty Road on March 17 at 11:12 a.m. She was stopped, arrested, transported, processed, and released on her own recognizance.
  • Karissa Guevarez, 24, of New Milford, CT, was arrested after she was found to be in possession of marijuana under 50 grams and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Washington Road on March 18 at 10:30 p.m. Guevarez was processed and released on her own recognizance.
  • William Michelsen, 24, of Glen Gardner, failed a field sobriety test following a traffic stop on Spring Street on March 18 at 2:06 a.m. Michelsen was arrested, transported to headquarters, processed and later released to a sober adult.
  • Elijah Manning, 25, of Princeton, failed a field sobriety test following an accident on Witherspoon Street on March 20 at 8:11 p.m. Manning was arrested, transported to headquarters, processed and later released to a sober adult.
  • Kyle Chunko, 25, of Riverside, was arrested after he was found to have an active out of Camden City in the amount of $100 following a traffic stop on Princeton-Kingston Road on March 20 at 9:51 a.m. Chunko was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on his own recognizance.
