3 Construction Jobs To Disrupt Traffic In Princeton Thursday: Police

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton police are informing residents about a three construction jobs that will have an impact on traffic on Thursday.
There will be alternating traffic on Witherspoon Street between Spring Street and Nassau Street from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. There will also be extra pedestrian volume and parked trucks due to the farmer's market. Drivers are advised to use caution in the area.
Officers will be assisting with traffic while contractor trenches across one lane of Witherspoon Street near Alchemist & Barrister. Every effort will be made to alternate traffic, police said Wednesday evening. However if traffic becomes too heavy, Witherspoon Street may be limited to northbound traffic only from Nassau Street. Southbound traffic will be detoured down Hulfish Street and Spring Street.

There will also be alternating traffic on Alexander Street at Faculty Road from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Officers will be alternating traffic while contractor works near the intersection. Drivers should expect delays in the area.
Additionally, overnight work will continue on Nassau Street from 8 p.m. Thursday night to 5 a.m. Friday morning. Drivers should expect alternating traffic on Nassau Street between Snowden Lane and Harriet Drive as the long term project continues.
