$300,000 In Cocaine Seized In Mercer County Drug Bust: Prosecutor
3 kilograms of cocaine, over $195,000 in cash, a money counter, and two digital scales were seized during the operation, authorities said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A man from Trenton was arrested Friday morning after $300,000 in cocaine was seized, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.
Early Friday morning, Feb. 25, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at the West State Street apartment of Trenton resident Cesar Cedeno-Correa, Onofri said.
During the search, three kilograms of cocaine and more than $195,000 in cash were found in a backpack in the bedroom, Onofri said. An additional 60 grams of cocaine, a money counter, and two digital scales were also seized, according to Onofri.

The bust follows a two-month-long investigation into narcotics distribution in the Trenton area, Onofri said. The search was conducted by members of the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force, the Mercer County Tactical Response Team, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and Homeland Security Investigations.
Cedeno-Correa, 28, is charged with various narcotics-related offenses, including first-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with the intent to distribute, and money laundering.

The prosecutor’s office has filed a motion to detain him pending trial. Onofri said the street value of the confiscated cocaine is approximately $300,000.
