6 Indicted In Mercer County Double Homicide: Prosecutor
Six people have been indicted in a shooting that killed two people and injured another in January.
Six people have been indicted on 14 counts in a shooting that killed two people and injured another in Mercer County in January, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced Friday morning.
Lakeisha Hill, 29, Shaquille McNeil, 24, Tashawn Santiago, 25, Cecil Blake, 31, were each indicted on two counts of first-degree murder, one count of first-degree attempted murder, and numerous weapons offenses in the deaths of 25-year-old Jerard Perdomo-Santana and 19- year-old Ivan Rodriguez. All four remain incarcerated.
Hill and Santiago were also indicted on one count of third-degree hindering apprehension for giving false information to law enforcement officers. Felicita Gee, 43, and Fantasia Gee, 24, were also indicted on the charges of giving false information to law enforcement officers.

Police found Santana and Rodriguez unconscious and unresponsive in a black Ford Taurus that was parked and idling on the 300 block of Ashmore Avenue in Trenton just before 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, according to the prosecutor’s office.
A third person who was shot in the left shoulder and hand drove himself to the hospital and was later found by police officers.

The indictment is a result of an investigation by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force, specifically lead investigator Michael Hughes of the New Jersey State Police. Assistant Prosecutor Stacey Geurds presented the case to the grand jury.
