7 Unlocked Princeton Cars Burglarized In 3 Days
Princeton Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after 7 cars were burglarized over 3 days in town.
PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after seven cars were burglarized over three days in town.
All of the burglaries happened between Jan. 24 and 26, most likely overnight, Princeton Police said.
On Jan. 25 a Stonewall Circle resident reported that overnight someone had entered the unlocked vehicle that was parked in their driveway. Nothing was stolen and no damage was done.

That same day, a Loomis Court resident reported that, overnight, someone had entered an unlocked vehicle that was in their driveway. The vehicle was not damaged and a coin purse with about $10 inside was stolen.
On Jan. 26 three more residents on Laurel Circle also reported their unlocked vehicles parked in their driveways were burglarized. One resident reported the vehicle registration and a tire pressure gauge were stolen, valued at $10.

Princeton Police posted a video on their Facebook page as a reminder to residents to lock their vehicle's doors, take valuables, and hide any belongings from sight.
