accused, Ramiro Gomez-Vasquez, 44, of Princeton, was arrested after he engaged in a verbal argument with the victim that later escalated to a physical confrontation involving a knife. Gomez-Vasquez was taken to the Mercer County Correctional Center. He was charged with aggravated assault, weapons unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon.

On Feb. 4 at 1:19 p.m.: Two women entered a retail clothing store on Nassau Street and
removed four clothing items from the shelves. They then attempted to exchange two of the items but were denied by store personnel. The women left the store with the remaining two items without rendering payment. The value of the items stolen is $896. The Detective Bureau is investigating.
On Feb. 5 at 4:30 p.m.: Someone stole the victim’s black Michael Kors tote bag that she unintentionally mislaid in the area of N. Harrison St. The bag and the items inside totaled $659. The Detective Bureau is investigating.
