Suit Against Princeton Mayor and Municipality in Fatal Crash Case Settled with Multi-Million Dollar Insurance Payments (tapinto.net) โ A multi-million dollar settlement has been reached in the lawsuit over a 2021 fatal crash linked to a stolen vehicle and a pursuit involving Princeton's mayor and local responders. Insurance funds for the municipality of Princeton, Mayor Mark Freda, Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad, and the vehicle owner will pay a combined $7.25 million, closing a closely watched local case.

2. Princeton Sets Sept. 24 Presentation On Land Development Code Review (patch.com) โ Princeton is kicking off a major overhaul of its Land Development Code, and residents can weigh in at a public presentation on Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at 400 Witherspoon Street. You can review the diagnostic report and submit comments online, helping shape how future development, zoning, and growth are regulated in town.

Memorial Service for Lynn Wilson Kugelman Set for Oct. 10 (myrye.com) โ A longtime Princeton Junction resident, Lynn Wilson Kugelman will be remembered at a memorial service on Saturday, October 10, at 1 p.m. at Mather-Hodge Funeral Home on Vandeventer Avenue in Princeton, with visitation starting at noon. Friends and neighbors are invited to gather afterward at the family's Princeton Junction home, and may honor her memory with donations to the Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.

4. Celadon Stars To Present ONE JOURNEY - MANY HEARTS For A Cross-Cultural Concert (broadwayworld.com) โ A free cross-cultural Mid-Autumn Festival concert in Tribeca on September 27 will feature Princeton ties, including a jazz-pipa piece introduced by Princeton University music director Vince Di Mura and a dance ensemble from Princeton. Residents can reserve tickets by emailing organizers, knowing that all donations will support nonprofits helping refugee and immigrant families with young children.
