Amtrak Strikes, Kills Person Near Princeton Junction Saturday Night
It is the second time in three days a person was killed in an accident involving an Amtrak in the area.

PRINCETON, NJ — A second person was struck and killed by an Amtrak train in Princeton Junction in the last three days Saturday night. The fatal accident was reported by NJ Transit via Twitter at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday night. The person was not identified, but delays related to the accident continued well into the night.
No crew members or passengers were injured in the incident, in which a train headed from Miami to New York hit a person who was on the tracks, according to Planet Princeton.
A Princeton High School student was struck and killed by an Amtrak in the same area on Thursday night. School officials communicated the news about the 15-year-old’s passing to parents in a letter this week.
