Hank Siegel, President, and Martin Siegel, Chairman, Hamilton Jewelers, with Larry Pettinelli, President, Patek Philippe USA Host Celebration Event

PRINCETON, NJ - Celebrating the occasion of Hamilton Jewelers’ 100th anniversary as a family-owned business, Hamilton and Patek Philippe held an extraordinary event at Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ on Thursday, May 24, 2012.  Patek Philippe has been a brand partner of the prestigious retail firm since 1938 and is Hamilton’s longest standing continuous supplier.   The evening commemorated the theme of “A Passion for Craftsmanship,” applauding Patek’s exceptional artisans that produce their coveted fine timepieces, as well as Hamilton’s longstanding tradition of excellence in their communities.  The event showcased an outstanding display of interactive watch ‘action stations’ that allowed guests to try their hand at watch-making, including disassembling a timepiece, dial stamping, and watch accuracy tests.

The event introduced two Minute Repeater timepieces from Patek’s Geneva production facility, as well as new releases first presented at BaselWorld 2012, a highly desirable and rare occasion.   The festive and extravagant affair included a personal cooking demonstration by acclaimed chef Shane Cash from Rat’s Restaurant, entertainment, extensive tastings and signature cocktails, and much more.

“This event was truly representative of Hamilton over the past 100 years,” said Hank B. Siegel, President and CEO of Hamilton Jewelers.  “Established by my grandfather, and strengthened through my father and myself, we have always strived to combine the characteristics of an international jeweler with the unique hospitality of a regional family business.  An evening celebrating our long-established partnership with Patek with our clients helps to demonstrate that commitment and relationship.”
