Anti-Semitic Stickers Posted To Princeton Traffic Signs, Police Say
More than $8,000 worth of clothing was also reportedly shoplifted from a Princeton store, according to the police blotter.
PRINCETON, NJ — Anti-Semitic stickers, a stolen bike, shoplifting, and more were recently reported in Princeton.
Princeton Police blotter:
On June 5 at 9:15 a.m.: A victim reported having his GoTrax E Bike valued at $499 stolen from the area of the bus stop on Washington Road on June 3 between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. This theft is under investigation.

On June 6 at 12:43 p.m.: Patrols responded to Hulfish Street on the report of a shoplifting that had just occurred. Upon arrival, the store advised that two unidentified women had shoplifted $8,100 worth of clothing. This theft is under further investigation.
On June 8 at 7:08 p.m.: Princeton Police responded to the 300 block of Elm Road to investigate a theft by deception. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was led to believe that they had won the lottery and subsequently sent $3,200 via a MoneyPak cash transfer to an unknown person reporting to be from the lottery. This theft is under investigation.

On June 9 at 11:51 a.m.: Patrols responded to the 200 block of Harrison Street to investigate the report of an identity theft/ criminal Simulation. Upon arrival, the victim reported that two unidentified women approached her home inquiring about
a room for rent inside of her home that had been listed on the "Princeton University Housing" Facebook Page. The unidentified women showed the victim the listing and the direct messages between the women and an unknown person
claiming to rent the room. There was no monetary loss reported by the victim.
On June 9 at 10:36 a.m.: Patrols investigated the report of a Bias Intimidation incident. It was determined that two stickers were placed on traffic signs on Linden Lane which contained anti-Semitic writing on them. These stickers were immediately removed by patrol. This incident is under investigation and has been reported to the Division of Criminal Justice.
On June 9 at 3:44 a.m.: Patrols responded to the area of Hinds Plaza to investigate a noise complaint. Upon arrival, they found multiple men consuming alcoholic beverages in public. While obtaining information to issue a special complaint
summons, Meregildo Gomez-Agustin, 25, of Princeton, provided false pedigree information and was subsequently arrested for hindering apprehension. Gomez-Agustin was later released pending a future court date.
