Arrest Made In Recent Princeton Car Burglaries: Police

Jose Gonnell was arrested without incident on Thursday.

PRINCETON, NJ — A Princeton man has been arrested in connection with a series of car burglaries that recently took place along Bayard Lane, police said on Friday.

Jose Gonell was arrested without incident at about 1:15 p.m. on Oct. 26, the Princeton Police Department announced. He was charged with four counts of burglary and theft.

Police reported that six car burglaries took place over the weekend earlier this week. Police identified Gonnell as a suspect through evidence collected at the scene of the burglaries, the department said.

Residents are reminded to remove cash, computers, and other easily removed valuables from vehicles and to keep their vehicles locked.
