Back To School: Princeton Public Schools Calendar 2022-23
As parents prepare for the first day of school in Princeton, here are a few dates to remember:
PRINCETON, NJ — The first day of school is less than a month away and families have already begun their planning and preparing.
The first day of school in Princeton is Sept. 6. Staff will participate in professional development on Aug. 30, 31 and Sept. 1. All schools and offices will be closed on Sept. 5 for Labor Day.
As of now, there are no mask mandates for students and staff.

The CDC is expected to significantly relax COVID-19 school guidelines in the coming days, according to the news report by CNN.

If enacted, the changes to COVID guidelines would represent a shift in last school year's policies in New Jersey. The state ended its school mask mandate March 7, and only a handful of districts maintained them or in case of Princeton, brought them back during last spring's surge. - NJEA Convention – Schools Closed: Nov. 10-11
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-25
- Winter Break: Dec. 26 - Jan. 2, 2022. Classes resume Jan. 3
- Spring Break: April 3, 2023 - April 7, 2023
- Last Day: June 15, 2023 (early dismissal)
