Work is now scheduled to take place on Sunday.

PRINCETON, NJ — The closure of Wiggins Street for the installation of bike lanes has been postponed until Sunday, May 20, due to the unrelenting rain, Princeton police said on Thursday. The closure begins at 8 a.m. Bike lane installation is expected to take most of the day.

The closure will be from Witherspoon Street to Walnut Lane. Work will be done “block-by-block” as the bike lanes are installed from Sylvia Beach Way to Walnut Lane.

Drivers are urged to use Nassau Street or alternate local roads (Franklin Avenue, Valley Road, etc.) to travel east and west during the closure.
