Bike Stolen From JW Middle School In Princeton: Police

In a separate incident, a man reported that more than $900 in fraudulent checks had been cashed in his name.

PRINCETON, NJ — A bicycle was stolen from in front of John Witherspoon Middle School late last week, according to the Princeton Police Department.

The bike was stolen sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13, the owner’s mother told police. Along with the blue and white Trek bicycle, a black helmet and a bicycle lock were also stolen.

The item was posted online as part of the Princeton Police Department’s report on Tuesday, Sept. 18. In the only other item posted, a Princeton resident reported that $9761.44 in forged checks were cashed on his bank account. Three other checks were also presented but were not successfully cashed.
