Victim ID'd: Body Found In Trash Bag On South Jersey Street: Cops

The dead body of a woman was found in a trash bag in South Jersey. The victim was identified; other details were revealed.

Details have been released in the discovery of a dead woman's body found in a garbage bag on a South Jersey street on Monday, police said.

The victim has been identified as 43-year-old Lillian Duran of Trenton, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the Trenton death.

The body was found after Trenton police responded to the area of 460 Lamberton St. at approximately 5 p.m.

on Monday. The deceased body was found on the sidewalk in a plastic bag, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.

Responding officers located the scene and notified the Mercer County Homicide Task Force. An autopsy was performed today by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office, however, the cause and manner of death are undetermined and pending toxicology studies.
