Classes Resume Following Bomb Threat at Princeton High School

The building was deemed safe after bomb-sniffing dogs and their handlers searched the premises on Friday.

The school day has resumed as normal following a bomb threat at Princeton High School Friday morning.

The school was evacuated and students and faculty were temporarily relocated while Princeton Police searched the school after it received a pre-recorded bomb threat at 11:12 a.m.

Bomb-sniffing dogs and their handlers searched the building, and deemed it safe at 1:45 p.m.

The threat came one day after a threat at Riverside School proved to be “unfounded,” and during a year in which a rash of swatting incidents, which are fake bomb threats being delivered via pre-recorded message, have plagued Princeton.
