Business leaders can be informed on the latest crucial economic developments from Washington and how these initiatives will positively impact local businesses here in the area during a breakfast with Congressman Rush Holt on October 17.
“It's always a privilege to speak with business leaders in the Princeton Trenton region, which has one of the most active, engaged, innovative business communities in central New Jersey. More so than most towns, locals in the Princeton Trenton region rely upon wise federal policy -- especially in the areas of research and development -- to support job and business growth,” said Rep. Holt. “I look forward to hearing the thoughts of the business community and to sharing news from Congress.”
He will discuss ideas regarding small business job creation, initiatives designed to help job growth in the Princeton Trenton Region, and transportation plans for the region at the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce’s event in association with Trenton Small Business week activities at the new Education Building at the College of New Jersey in Ewing.

Healthcare, health policies and the impact of new federal guidelines will also be touched upon by the veteran Congressman from the 12th district.
Rep. Holt, is a resident of Hopewell Township, N.J. and has represented Central New Jersey in Congress since 1999. Born in West Virginia, he inherited his interest in politics from his parents. His father was the youngest person ever elected to the U.S. Senate, at age 29. His mother served as Secretary of State of West Virginia and was the first woman to hold that position.
This breakfast is part of the Trenton Small Business Week program. Registration is $25 and includes a full breakfast can be done online at www.princetonchamber.org. After brief remarks, Rep. Holt will take questions from attendees.
