Blog: The Bear in Herrontown Wood

The bear in Herrontown Wood got there by running through the town.

Twas alumni weekend and all was abuzz, intermingling of townfolk and gown.

The cub came through Conte's lot, cut through the vacant PHCS garage,

went over the fence and up a tree, in historic Princeton cemetery.

Animal Control was on the scene, and police with weapons loaded.

People gathered and gawked, and the bear, who was lost,

into violence was not goaded.

Animal Control, with a heart and a soul, herded that bear North to the Township.

And so he remains, at least in our brains,

a Reunion Bruin in Herrontown Wood.
