The American Cancer Society is looking for an intern to assist with recruiting men and women to participate in a historical research study called Cancer Prevention Study 3 (CPS-3).
Central New Jersey residents have an unprecedented opportunity to participate in a historic study that has the potential to change the face of cancer for future generations. Men and women between the ages of 30 and 65 who have never been diagnosed with cancer are needed to participate in the American Cancer Society's Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3). CPS-3 will enroll a diverse population of up to half a million people across the US and Puerto Rico.
The American Cancer Society Central New Jersey Region is looking for an intern to assist with recruiting men and women throughout Central NJ. CPS-3 is the third phase of our Cancer Prevention Study with the purpose to better understand the lifestyle, behavioral, and other factors that may prevent and or cause cancer.
Intern will implement a regional CPS-3 study recruitment plan for Middlesex and Mercer counties. Intern will assist CPS-3 project manager to educate the public about the CPS-3 study, raise awareness, build publicity and recruit study participants. Intern is to accomplish this goal through media outreach, information sessions, awareness campaigns, recruitment events, grassroots outreach, and community partnerships including hospital leadership.
