Burglary, Forgery, Criminal Mischief: Princeton Police Blotter

A woman reported that someone entered her car, stole various debit, credit cards and made purchases in West Windsor, police said.

PRINCETON, NJ – Princeton Police blotter dated April 29 contained the following reports:

On April 17 at 2:38 p.m., a retail store on Nassau Street reported $662 in merchandise being stolen from their store. The suspect was identified and later placed under arrest. The 44-year-old Trenton man was processed and transported to the Mercer County Correctional Center

On April 20 at 5:33 p.m. a victim reported that two individuals entered a retail establishment on Nassau Street and stole an item valued at $1,395. They left the area in an unknown direction. The Detective Bureau is investigating

On April 20, 8:07 p.m., a victim reported that while she was in an establishment on Witherspoon Street, when an unknown female yelled at her and sprayed an unknown substance on her causing her to feel harassed. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On 21 at 10 p.m., a Guyot Avenue resident reported that their home was burglarized by an unknown individual. Numerous items were stolen from the residence after a screen and window were broken and entry was gained into the home. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On April 22 at 2:44 p.m., a man reported that the catalytic converter on his vehicle was removed while it was parked in front of his residence in Ewing Street. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On April 23, 6:06 p.m., a woman reported that unknown suspects forced entry into her vehicle while it was parked at Lovers Lane and stole various debit/credit cards. The suspects then made several unauthorized purchases at a retail store in West Windsor. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On April 23, 2:03 a.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop on University Place, and a 28-year-old Princeton resident was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. He was taken to PPD Headquarters where he was processed, charged accordingly and released.

On April 26 at 4:01 p.m., a woman reported that her paycheck, which was sent to her via US Mail by her employer, was stolen, her signature forged and cashed by an unknown individual.

On April 26 at 12:16 p.m., a victim reported that two backhoe attachments were stolen from a construction site on Rollingmead. Each attachment was valued at around $2,000. There are no suspects at this time.
