Bus To 2020 Women's March Available In Princeton

Planning to take a stand in Washington, DC? Here is one way to be a part of the worldwide demonstration for women's rights on Jan. 18.

PRINCETON, NJ — Roundtrip bus transportation will be offered to women in Princeton planning to march on Washington as part of a worldwide demonstration for women's rights on Jan. 18.

Women's March is offering the bus trips to select cities including in Princeton, as long as 40 riders sign up for the service.

The bus will depart around 5:40 a.m. to go to the rally being held at Freedom Plaza, at 1455 Pennsylvania Ave., just a block from the White House.

This is the fourth straight year of the women's march.

"Three years of marching, training, organizing, and building power — it’s all been leading up to this. In 2020, we have a chance to finish what we started three years ago and remove Trump from office," their website states. "With your help, we can make this the largest day of action the country has ever seen, and demand that our leaders hold Trump accountable, protect our planet, and fight for our rights."
