The Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) will hold its Annual Member Gathering on Sunday afternoon, June 14 in Princeton! This annual event is exclusively for CFPA members and their guests! William Hartung, Senior Research Fellow at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, and an expert on the arms industry and US military budget, will be the keynote speaker. Bill is the co-author of the recently released book The Trillion Dollar War Machine: How Runaway Military Spending Drives America into Foreign Wars and Bankrupts Us at Home. He has been a featured expert on national security issues on CBS 60 Minutes, NBC Nightly News, the PBS Newshour, CNN, Fox News, and scores of local, regional, and international TV and radio outlets.
In addition, Laura Zurfluh, leader of Indivisible Cranbury; and Lisa Winkler, a leader in the NJ Chapter of Moms Demand Action (MDA), who represents MDA to CFPA's Ceasefire NJ Project, will be honored for their outstanding contributions!

Members are strongly urged to register as a Sponsor @ $100 per person, which includes the Sponsor Reception in the Fireplace Room of the church from 1:30-2:30 PM. Sponsors will be provided refreshments and an opportunity to mingle with the keynote speaker and honorees, as well as receive a complimentary copy of Bill's new book!
The Program is from 2:30-4:00 PM in the Sanctuary of the church, and will include recognizing the two honorees, an opportunity to make a contribution, the keynote speech, and a Q and A period that follows. The requested registration fee is $10 per person, and there is a free ticket option for students. Non members are free to attend as guests of a member; just email jnew@peacecoalition.org to register your guest's name(s) so we have them on the list to check in at the door.
Location and Parking
The Member Gathering will be at Christ Congregation, 50 Walnut Lane (at the intersection with Houghton Rd.) in Princeton. There is plenty of free parking at a small lot behind the church off Houghton, as well as the Princeton High School parking lots across the street from the church.
