Car Strikes Man On Sidewalk At Library In Mercer County: Cops

He was on a sidewalk at a NJ library. So was her car, police say. Something very bad happened after that, police say.

A man was struck Saturday while standing on a sidewalk in front of a New Jersey library, police said.

The incident happened at approximately 5:17 p.m. when John Moore, 66, of Hamilton Township was standing on the sidewalk in front of local library located at 1 Justice Samuel Alito Jr Way, police said.

There, Moore was was struck by a 2009 Chevrolet Impala driven by Patience Scott, 37, of Hamilton Township, police said.

Moore was transported by ambulance to Capital Health at Fuld Trauma Unit for his serious injuries. The crash is under investigation by Officer Paul Micharski.
