Case Against Former Police Chief Heads To Trial Next Month
The case against former Princeton Police Chief David Dudeck is scheduled to go to trial Oct. 19.

PRINCETON, NJ — The lawsuit filed by seven current and former members of the Princeton Police Department against former Princeton Police Chief David Dudeck is heading to court next month.
The lawsuit, which alleges a pattern of discrimination, harassment and inappropriate workplace behavior dating back to 2013, goes to trial in State Superior Court in Trenton on Oct. 19, according to the court clerk’s office.
The police union initially agreed to drop all claims in exchange for Dudeck's retirement, and the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office agreed not to investigate. The initial agreement said Dudeck couldn't sue Princeton and vice versa.

However, the agreement didn't prohibit individuals from filing a lawsuit. Sharon Papp, Steven Riccitello, David Chitren, Carol Raymond, Christopher Donnelly, Michael Bender and Christopher Quaste did just that in 2013.
They filed a lawsuit requesting a trial by jury, and seek compensatory damages (for emotional distress, pain and suffering, lost promotion, employment, wages and benefits) punitive damages and attorneys fees and costs.
