Catalytic Converter Theft, DUI: Princeton Police Blotter

Four people told police that the catalytic converter was stolen from their cars, according to the blotter.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police Blotter dated May 22, had the following reports:

On May 15, at 3:30 p.m., a victim reported that an unknown individual entered their vehicle while it was parked on Pretty Brook Road and stole U.S. Currency and several debit/credit cards. The cards were then unsuccessfully used in another jurisdiction. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On May 17 at 10:42 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Nassau Street and a 35-year-old woman was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. She was taken to PPD Headquarters where she was processed, charged accordingly and released.

On May 18 at 4:25 p.m., Police conducted a shoplifting investigation at a retail establishment on North Harrison Street. A 35-year-old Willingboro resident was placed under arrest for shoplifting several items. She was taken to PPD Headquarters where she was charged and released.

On May 18, 4:22 p.m., a victim reported that the catalytic converter from his vehicle was stolen by an unknown individual at William Livingston Court. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On May 18 at 4:40 p.m., another person reported that the catalytic converter from his vehicle was stolen by an unknown individual from William Livingston Court. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On May 19 at 6:36 a.m., a victim reported that the catalytic converter from his vehicle was stolen by an unknown individual while it was parked at Griggs Drive. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On May 21, at 3:08 p.m., a resident reported that between May 12 and May 21, the catalytic converter from his vehicle was stolen by an unknown individual at William Livingston Court. The Detective Bureau is investigating.
