Catalytic Converter Theft, Package Stolen: Princeton PD Blotter

A resident reported that catalytic converters were stolen from two work vehicles, police said.

PRINCETON, NJ — A resident told police on Oct. 5 that catalytic converters were stolen from two of his work vehicles between 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 4 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 5. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

A resident of Clay Street told police on Oct. 5, that a U.S. Postal Service (USPS) package containing prescription medication was stolen from the front porch/door of her residence on Oct. 4 between 1146 hours and 1930 hours. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On Oct. 5 a caller from Nassau Street reported that three unknown people entered a store and shoplifted several items, before fleeing on foot. The business suffered a loss of $475. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On Oct. 3, police conducted a motor vehicle stop at Witherspoon Street for driving a vehicle with an expired registration. The driver was found to have an active warrant out of Bedminster Township Municipal Court for $1,000, police said. The man was processed and turned over to the Bedminster Police Department.

On Oct. 1, a Plainsboro man was charged with DUI after he made an improper U-turn, failed to obey a traffic signal and failed to keep right, police said. The man was the only occupant of the car.
