Christie Lets Sports Radio Host Have Governor's Mansion For Pool Party Bash
Gov. Chris Christie, co-hosting "Boomer & Carton" on WFAN on Tuesday, agreed to let Craig Carton, co-host of the show, to host a party.
Gov. Chris Christie, co-hosting "Boomer & Carton" on WFAN on Tuesday, agreed to let Craig Carton, co-host of the show, host a pool party bash at the governor's mansion.
Christie, who only uses Drumthwacket for special events, will be on vacation with his family during the event, he said. So he's letting Carton use the mansion for a viewing party for the Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor fight in August.
Christie told Carton could invite up to 75 people. We'll have more information on this as soon as it's available.

"This is going to be great," Carton said, according to an nj.com description of the exchange. "I can't wait," he said.
"You'll have to pay for it. But yeah," Christie responded when Carton asked if it would be catered, according to nj.com. Christie also said he will get approval over the guest list.

Christie, according to the report, also said Carton is barred from having a DJ outside since the mansion sits in a residential neighborhood.
"It's not like isolated like the White House," Christie reportedly said. "We're going to have to have a lot of off-air conversation about this."
