Code Ninjas Princeton Celebrates Young STEM Leaders

Princeton, NJ – Code Ninjas Princeton recently hosted its STEM Excellence & Entrepreneurship Recognition Ceremony, celebrating outstanding achievements in coding, computer science, and entrepreneurship by local students.

The event was graced by West Windsor Mayor Hemant Marathe as Chief Guest, along with Council Vice President Andrea Mandel and Council Member Joe Charles, who presented awards and certificates to the student honorees.

Mayor Marathe applauded the students for their accomplishments and encouraged families to continue investing in software and technology education, emphasizing that coding is an essential skill not only for today but for the future. Council Vice President Andrea Mandel, reflecting on her own engineering journey, shared how inspiring it was to see so many young girls pursuing technology and STEM.

The ceremony recognized several remarkable accomplishments:

• Code Ninjas Black Belt Graduation ("Ninjas Go Gold") – Reyansh and Eshan were honored for completing the entire Code Ninjas curriculum, the program's highest achievement.
• Carnegie Mellon University CS Academy – West Windsor-Plainsboro eighth-grader Anousha was recognized for winning 1st Place Worldwide in Carnegie Mellon University's Creative Task Competition, competing against more than 200 student submissions from around the world.
• Middle School CEO Competition – Code Ninjas Team EverRipe, comprising Anousha (CEO), Agatha (CMO), Ahana (CFO), and Vihan (COO), earned Runner-Up honors in the Project ECHO Middle School CEO Competition, competing against more than 35 teams from across the Americas.

The event also celebrated Code Ninjas Princeton becoming the region's only ISTE Approved and Certified Coding Learning Center. In addition, Manisha Sharma, educator and co-owner of Code Ninjas Princeton, was recognized for her dedication to advancing computer science education and promoting STEM awareness within the community.

"Every child has the potential to become an innovator when they're given the opportunity to explore technology early," said Manisha Sharma. "Watching our students earn global recognition, achieve Code Ninjas' highest milestone, and succeed in entrepreneurship demonstrates what's possible when curiosity, perseverance, and mentorship come together. We hope these accomplishments inspire many more families to embrace STEM education and prepare the next generation of innovators."

The ceremony concluded with student project demonstrations, family celebrations, and a shared commitment to expanding STEM education opportunities throughout the Princeton community.
