Community Outreach- "Windows To Heaven" Byzantine Iconography Tour

Saint Vladimir's Orthodox Church was painted by well-known Byzantine iconographer, Pimen Sofronov in 1952. The frescoes and wooden icons are truly beautiful gospels in living color. A 90 minute tour and explanation of the interior of this church will be presented at two times: 11:00 am and 2:15 pm. Each tour will be followed by a reception that includes ethnic foods and deserts as well as a silent auction to purchase a personally commissioned icon hand written (painted) by local iconographer, Lynette Hull.   All inclusive tickets can be purchased by contacting Nina.Laushall@Ltlcolor.com  or Darice.Keyes@Ltlcolor.com. www.saintvladimir.com.   Advance prices are: Adults- $20, Children 12-18- $10, College Students- $10.
