Update On Construction Projects In Princeton Friday

PRINCETON, NJ — Lafayette Road will be closed again on Friday between Cleveland Road and Westerly Road, including Hunter Road, Princeton police said Friday morning. Due to issues on Thursday, the contractor will again need to trench across the road to all near 70 Lafayette Road.

"Cut through" traffic will not be able to use Westerly Road to take Hunter Road to Cleveland Lane as a result of the construction. Local residents (Hunter/Lafayette roads) should access their homes from opposite sides of the construction area at 70 Lafayette Road.

Additionally, a striping crew is working on Valley Road in an effort to complete the road improvements in a timely fashion. Drivers are advised to use caution in the area because there may be traffic delays.
