Coronavirus: Princeton Medical Center Asks Visitors To Stay Home
"We would encourage visitors of all ages to stay home rather than visiting patients at this time unless absolutely necessary": Hospital.
PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Medical Center is encouraging visitors to stay home to protect patients from the new coronavirus.
"Out of an abundance of caution in the interest of protecting our patients from possible exposure to the COVID-19 virus, we would encourage visitors of all ages to stay home rather than visiting patients at this time unless absolutely necessary," the hospital announced on Tuesday.
"That does not apply to patients coming in for scheduled treatment or services. Those patients should proceed as usual. We are only trying to limit unnecessary visits," said Andrew Williams, a spokesman for the hospital.
