Also on the agenda is the introduction of an ordinance that looks to establish a 'No Stopping or Standing Zone' on a portion of Paul Robeson Place. According to a memo by Deanna Stockton of the engineering department, Princeton Police and Municipal Engineering staff conducted a review of the crash history and sight distance of the exit from the Palmer Square Residences garage located on Paul Robeson Place. This was done based upon a request by Palmer Square Management.
To address safety concerns, the department has recommended the removal of two metered parking stalls on the west side of the parking garage exit. This hopes to provide adequate sight distance for those who use the exit on a daily basis.
