PRINCETON, NJ — On Monday, Princeton Council will be meeting and on the agenda is a public discussion on the proposed budget.

When the budget was introduced in March, residents were informed that homeowners will see a 1 cent increase in municipal property tax rate — the first increase in two years. The municipal property tax rate is expected to increase from 50 cents per $100 of accessed value to 51 cents.

A public hearing and final action on the proposed spending plan are scheduled for Monday's meeting.
