Criminal Mischief, Burglary, Theft Reported In Princeton

Two people allegedly burglarized a Princeton gas station and stole items, police report.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police reported criminal mischief, burglary, theft and a warrant arrest recently.

Princeton Police blotter:

On Oct. 9 at 9:01 a.m.: Princeton Recreation Department reported that on an unknown date and time, the back window to one of the sheds located next to the roofed picnic area was broken off by an unknown actor(s). The cost to repair the window would be approximately $200.

On Oct. 9 at 3:04 a.m.: Two unknown actors made illegal entry into the Exxon Gas Station at 870 State Road. The actors took various items totaling an unknown dollar amount at this time.

On Oct. 8 at 10:18 a.m.: Subsequent to reports of an intoxicated male in the store, Chhetri Netra, 47, of Trenton was located on foot in the parking lot of PNC Bank. Investigation at the scene revealed that Chhetri had an active ATS warrant out of Burlington Municipal Court for $500.04. He was arrested and taken to Princeton Police Department Headquarters and subsequently released by Burlington County.

On Oct. 8 at 7:16 p.m.: A victim reported that on Oct. 8 at 5:30 p.m. his bag containing two Mac Books, an iPad, external hard drive, and two sets of earphones was accidentally left unsecured and unattended on a chair in Hinds Plaza for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. At 6:45 p.m. the victim returned to find the bag was now missing. The total value of the theft was estimated to be $4,970.
