Criminal Trespass, Theft, DUI: Princeton Police Blotter

Here's this week's Princeton Police blotter:

PRINCETON, NJ — This week's Princeton Police blotter had the following reports:

On Oct. 18 at 8:43 p.m. police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Mount Lucas Road, for speeding. The driver who was the sole occupant of the car, was found to be driving while intoxicated. He was taken to police headquarters where he was processed and later released.

On Oct. 14 at 6:26 p.m. a woman reported that an unknown person stole her purse and backpack that were left unattended in a vestibule on Palmer Square West between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On Oct. 18, a woman was seen placing a bottle of liquor in her bag and leaving a North Harrison Street store without paying for it. She was processed, charged and released with a pending court date.

On Oct. 20, authorities responded to a call of an activated burglar alarm. Officers found a 24-year-old Hamilton resident sitting inside the premises where he was not permitted to be. The man was charged with criminal trespass.

On Oct. 22, A Nassau Street business reported that an unknown person shattered a double glass window pane from a rear door of the business with an unknown object. The Detective Bureau is investigating.
