Deadline to Enroll in Affordable Care Act Marketplace in Mercer County Approaching
County Executive Brian Hughes urges residents to enroll in the program.

Mercer County Executive Brian Hughes is encouraging people to secure an appointment at County Connection, Mercer County’s satellite office in Hamilton, to enroll through the Affordable Care Act’s Health Insurance Marketplace.
The deadline to enroll is Feb. 15. Appointments can be made online at https://www.getcoveredamerica.org/connector/ through Feb. 14.
“At County Connection through Get Covered America, Mercer County residents will be able to enroll in quality, affordable health coverage or renew their existing Marketplace plan,” Hughes said. “We’ve been able to partner with Get Covered America so that the experts can help our residents choose a plan that fits their needs and their budget.”

More than 161,000 New Jersey residents enrolled in coverage through the federal Marketplace during the first open enrollment period. An additional 278,000 received coverage through the state’s expanded Medicaid program, according to Enroll America, the nation’s leading health care enrollment coalition.
It is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization that brings together community and health organizations, businesses and others to inform consumers about new health coverage options and how to enroll in them.
