Route 206 Reopens After Downed Wires: Princeton PD
BREAKING: Two roads were closed for downed wires on Monday, Aug. 6.
PRINCETON, NJ — Route 206 has reopened after downed wires forced it to be partially closed earlier Monday, Princeton police said. It had been closed between Herrontown Road and Ewing Street due to a live wire being down. It was closed from about 2 p.m. through 5:30 p.m.
As of 5:30 p.m., Clover Lane was closed between both ends of Deerpath due to a collapsed utility pole and wires down. Power is out in the area. PSEG has been notified of that situation, but it is unknown how long it will take to reset the pole and wires and restore power.
