DWI, Bike Theft, Drug Possession Reported In Princeton

Princeton Police reported making arrests for driving while intoxicated, drug possession recently.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police reported making arrests for driving while intoxicated, drug possession recently.

Princeton Police blotter:

On Jan. 10 at 1:47 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Mercer Road for failure to keep right, the driver, Rhyan R. Hughes, 29, of Flemington was found to be driving while intoxicated. Hughes was placed under arrest and was later released to a sober adult.

On Jan. 10 at 11:46 p.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Nassau Street for tinted windows, the driver, Joshua Cobb, 19, of Hamilton was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana under 50 grams. Cobb also had an active warrant out of Trenton for $250. Cobb was placed under arrest and was later released on his own recognizance.

On Jan. 12 at 4:28 p.m.: The complainant reported that on Jan.9 sometime between 7:40 a.m. and 4 p.m., someone stole their son’s bicycle from the bike rack outside of John Witherspoon Middle School. The total value of the theft is $100.
