DWI, Credit Card Fraud, Warrant Arrests Made In Princeton
Princeton Police reported making multiple arrests including for providing alcohol to minors.
PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police reported making multiple arrests including DWI, credit card fraud and for providing alcohol to minors.
Princeton Police blotter:
On Jan. 27 at 12:17 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on State Road for improper turn and failure to maintain lane, the driver, Luis Marroquin, 27, of Somerset was found to be driving while intoxicated. Marroquin was placed under arrest and was additionally charged with obstructing the administration of law as well as resisting arrest. Marroquin was later released to a sober adult.

On Jan. 28 at 11:49 a.m.: The victim reported that someone used their information to open a credit card account. The victim did not become aware of the identity theft until the credit card company sent them a late notice for failing to pay $876.29 that was fraudulently charged.
On Jan. 28 at 11:58 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on State Road for a random plate inquiry hit, the driver, Mahlon Pratt, 37, of Weehawken was found to be driving while suspended. Pratt also had an active warrant out of Montgomery Township for $550. Pratt was placed under arrest and was later released to the custody of Montgomery Township Police.

On Jan. 29 at 1:08 p.m.: The victim reported that someone used their credit card to pay for a$27 cab ride in North Brunswick despite still being in possession of the card.
On Jan. 30 at 8:52 p.m.: Subsequent to a pedestrian stop on Nassau Street for an underage drinking investigation, Niklas Wegmann, 20, of Princeton and Janielle Dumapit, 18, of College Point, New York were both placed under arrest for underage possession of alcohol, providing alcohol to minors, and tampering with public records. They were later released on their own recognizance.
